Bangkok Trip 1st and 2nd day

6 April 2012

is the day i waited for so long..

the ticket was bought in a hurry one month ago..

hehehe..

in a month preparation... 

we only manage to book the hotel ONLY..

no itinerary, no tour..

on 6 Apr.. 

only we discuss how are we going to get to airport..

considering one from sg, one from mlk..

we decide to meet up straight at the LCCT..

hehehe...

yes.. 3 ppl..

me, loong gor and dailou..

we departed..

checking in the luggage was the joke before the vacation starts..

hahaha..

we should be allow to check in 15kg for each person..

ended up 2.4kg, 6.0kg and 10.4kg..

hahhhaa.. seriously we brought some empty bag.. hahahaha

Bangkok..

here we come..

yoohoooo....

reach late at night around 12am.. 

the hotel ppl pick us and sent us to the hotel..

proud to myself being so good taste.. ahahha

for a cheap, triple bedroom and a very nice hotel..

hehehe

after bathing .. 

time to burn the mid night oil

hahaha.. 

loong gor show me a map.. when i asking him where are us...

then he point at the bed sheet..

 it means.. OUT of the map

wakkakakaka...

how can it be..

no choice but to go down to the lobby for some info and also wifi..

hehehe..

and so... after half an hour time..

our trip is roughly sketches.. ehhehe

thx to my greatest tour guides..

dai lou and loong gor..

hehehhee

early morning..

we kena POTONG!!

meaning paying more than the expected money when we need to travel from the hotel to the town hotel..

and on the way another POTONG.. 

as we decide to join their day tour the next day.. (will explain this later.. haha)

and so..

reaching the hotel at bangkok...

this time..

i still very very proud..

hahahahha

the place looks so not nice.. is a shop lot..

but when we get into the room..

wow..

very very nice one..

bravo..

hehehe..

comfortable clean, cheap and with wifi.. yoohooo..

carried a bag each of us..

we walk off the street and started to 'eat wind'..

hahahha

1st station

Wat Arun (The Temple of Dawn) 

before that.. we went for some street food.. hahaha

is is compulsory to take the boat as the temple is opposite the river..

a very very nice place where you actually testing your fear of height..

imagine someone that climb a stair will scare and sweating at leg to climb that tall and high temple..

my leg started to sweat when i climbing up..

and when the moment i reach the half height of the temple.. i no longer dare to look down.. 

the most scary not on looking to the scenary there.. but to look down the stairs that we used to clim just now.. and it looks like 90 degress.. OMG..

but when you climb up..

i can say it did worth it... 

a place that worth to do...

2nd destination..

the grand palace..

the king having the ceremony in the morning and so the palace only open after 12pm..

exactly the time we finish visiting the temple.. hehehe..

lots tourist can be found there..

3rd destination

The chatuchak weekend market..

yes.. it opens only on weekend..

we met a good taxi driver and so he brought us to the place..

hehehe..

a very big market..

the things selling there have so many variety..

clothing, decoration things, furniture, pets...etc

really alot..

but i seriously hate dog walking around...

geli.. 

but

is a good place to eat too..

hunting for some street food.. hehhee..

reminded me on the bowl of sausage..

hahahaha

we cant speak thai at all..

when we asked how much.. the girl gave us a bowl say 50 baht(rm5)..

 and then.. we thought is like pizza hut salad service.. hahahhaha(if u get what i mean)..

hahaha..

and so..

dailou started to arrange the sausage nicely in the bowl layer after layer.. hahahhaa

then me and loong gor keep on ordering him how to arrange.. 

wakkakaka..

then finally come out we pay 100 baht and NO CHANGE..

why? 

because the girl actually means 50 baht 100grams. hahahhahhaa..

and so.. a big bowl of sausage.. we feeling so silly we are.. hahaha

4th destination..

MBK mall..

in my life i never walk that much before..

because getting a cab which dont POTONG us is so hard..

so we try to walk on ourself to the nearest shopping mall..

chit chat and talk and talk.. finally we reach..

feeling soooooo tired and exhausted..

with blisters started to grown on my leg.. 

painful..

luckily we get some good food to comfort ourself..

hahahhaa

dang dang dang dang..

hehehe...

and even have a supper.. hahaha

the mcd pork burger.. wakakkaa

after some breakfast shopping..

as we joining a day tour the next day..

we went to the supermarket to grab some breakfast...

after buying bread and some milk...

and then..

time to walk back..

the rain started to pour..

luckily the two great tour guide and brothers of mine brought umbrella.. 

and so.. hehehehe

u can imagine how romantic it is d.. 

avoiding those dogs, running with painful legs..

and the most scary..

thunder!!!

finally back to hotel.. yoohoo..
